JAB - KRUPNIK
Historians claim that the name for this beverage derives from barley groats, which together with honey and flavourings formed a spirit that was already popular throughout the region of today’s Poland and Lithuania back in the Middle Ages. We make our original Krupnik just as it used to be made, using the traditional recipe of the Baczewski family – adding a specially chosen mixture of herbs and spices to highest quality bee honey from Polish apiaries. This is then mixed with tripled-distilled potato spirit, and ultimately diluted with crystal-clear mountain water. Served heated, Baczewski’s Krupnik is an unbeatable companion during the cold nights of winter, while when served with ice it tastes just as perfect in the summer.
